Gallery > 2009 > Oostwold Airshow Oostwold Airshow, June 1 Page 1 of 2 Once every two years Oostwold Airport organises the Oostwold Airshow. In the morning airshow participants and airshow visitors would arive. Then in the afternoon the airshow would start. I arrived early and it payed of. Not many people were around and the static was easy to photograph.
About one hour after mine arrival flying visitors started to arrive. First one, then another, then two. More and more and more! The rest of the morning aircraft kept coming in! All the aircraft were parked between the public and the runway. All shapes and sizes were present. In the end about 100 aicraft were parked on the gras! Good job Oostwold :-D
Between the arrivals and the airshow the press was allowed to walk on the flightline. Too little time and too much aircraft (Ok never enough aircraft :-D).
From here on it's airshow pictures. A very good program with a lot of Yaks!
