Next time I visit this museum I take a deep loading trailer with me...

If information added to the pictures is incorrect or maybe you have something nice to add please let me know! I had to do a lot of searching on the web for all the info but I don't know if it's all correct. I haven't uploaded all the aircraft pictures of Monino, if you have a special request please let me know!
Of all the aviation museums I visited in my life I think Monino is the one that impressed me the most! If you ever are in the area go there! The collection is very impressive and the museum won't be there forever. Make sure you bring a few fellow spotters to be on the lookout when you jump over the fence for that special shot and bring a screwdriver if you can reach the scrapyard in the back and survive the wild dogs. Beware of the old museum guard who houses between the 'secret' hangar and the helicopters in his old shed on wheels.
While making the pictures ready for the website it was fascinating to discover the history behind the aircraft (at the museum most signs were in Russian or only displayed the aircraft type, crew, speed etcetera). At Monino you photograph some kind of, to you, unknown aircaft and when you arrive home scouting the internet to find out more you realise how unique and special the aircraft really is! Surreal that a few weaks ago you were feet away from that special one-of-a-kind aircraft various websites praise about...
