Monino Air Force Museum, Russia, August 19
On August 19 2009 we (a group of spotters) visited the Air Force Museum Monino about 45 Km East of Moscow. Now I do some copy pasting from another website (see page 2 for the link):
"It is the largest and best aviation museum in Russia. The museum was formerly known as The Russian Federation Air Force Museum and, prior to that, The USSR Air Force Museum. The facility was an operational air base from 1932 through April, 1956. The museum was founded in 1958 and opened in 1960 at the original airfield location and in the original airfield structures."
Most info is added to the pictures to click on them for more (very interesting) info. It took me 2 days to discover all the aircrafts identities (most of them I never heard of before) and was impressed by the many unique, one of a kind aircraft present at the museum.

Knowing that a lot of these aircraft are standing here since the 1960s-1970s they are in good shape! Most of them are also very much intact! Engines, cockpit... they've got it! Many and many years ago they came to Monino (lot's of them landed at Monino themselves!) the aircraft taxied to there final resting place, brakes on and closed the canopy and that is how they are still standing.
Inside was an impressive collection! Some more shots on page 2.

You won't find many double aicraft at Monino! A great variety!

We were warned not to go beyond the An-22 because of the wild dogs. Als the guards kept a close eye on us (but not good enough) so it was hard to jump over the fences and make pictures from other angels but not impossible!!! We didn't make it to the far back of the An-22 were a small scrapyard of fighters was (and the dogs)... I would love to look for a souvenir over there! Maybe better luck next time :P
