Also more large demo teams flew in the afternoon with the Red Arrow being my favorit.

After a fantastic show of the Reds it was time for THE big (really big) star of the show: the mighty Avro Vulcan. She would only fly two displays outside the UK in 2009. One at Volkel AB and another one in September at Sanicole airshow. What a fantastic aircraft...

Another big star for me: the Polish Mig-29 display. They put down an incredible display showing the brute force of this beautiful machine! I never saw this bird perform but now I'm really looking forward to MAKS2009...

This years Luchtmachtdagen was on of the best airshows hosted by the RNLAF I visited so far (the other one being 2006). The weather was perfect! We only had rain for about 5 minutes. The RNLAF isn't very large but they do know how to organise a superb airshow! See you next year at Gilze-Rijen AB :)
