After more British warbird action it was time for the oldest participant of Flying Legends. A 99 year old Bleriot XI (1910) from Sweden. The display was very low and slow but beautiful to see such old aircraft fly.
Next up were more Germans. A display of the Me-108 Taifun and Ju-52. The Junker is one of my favorit aircraft and she flew a good display in nice weather. Also a Jungmann flew a nice aerobatic show. Very good performance looking at her age.

Then we got a display of the Lysander and Swordfish. The Lysander being one of the highlights for me that weekend. The Swordfish was very cool to see, the display flown was superb!

Next up: Hurricanes! The weather got better and better and the Hurricanes flew a nice show with some nice photo passes.

Not only WW2 Fighters are present at Duxford, also some WW1 replicas flew a dogfight! this time with smoke.

The Dakota from Norway and Staggerwing flew a nice show, especially the DC-3. In the meanwhile the Sea Fury took off again, this time alone... maybe this display would be better?

The French Morane gave a display and it became clear to me that she was a lot faster than I initially thought! In the meantime lot's of warbirds took off again to prepare for the big ending: the Balbo final.

While the warbirds were forming the Balbo formation the Sea Fury returned to give a second display. This time alone... ...and what a display!! Finally the Fury display I was hoping for, low, fast and hard turns! Very good display!

It was time for the Balbo final. An awesome sound of 21 warbirds flying all at once is unique in the world!

After the Balbo we walked to the exit and made a few pictures of the aircraft on the flightline. After that we started the long journey home.

Duxford Flying Legends is THE airshow for all warbird fanatics! Lot's and Lot's of classic aircraft taking of from a grass runway with the typical English landscape as background. The museums are also worth a visit! One of the best airshows I visited. The chances I will be there next year are very high...
